Propane Delivery Driver (Bobtail) - Sanborn

We're currently hiring a local propane delivery driver(bobtail) in our Sanborn location to safely and efficiently deliver propane to our residential, commercial, industrial and agriculture customer's. This position will be full time, year round with heavier workload in winter months and opportunity for overtime. This position will be day shift with some nights, weekends and on call requirements as needed especially during winters months. Required Qualifications CDL Class B or A (required) Safe driving habits and a clean driving record Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a DOT medical card Willingness to work outdoors year round in WNY weather (snow, wind, cold, heat) Strong attention to detail and safety, and comfort working around customer property Ability to use a phone/tablet for routing, communication, and ticketing Preferred Qualifications Tanker + Hazmat endorsements (strongly preferred) Propane, fuel delivery, HVAC, mechanical, or field service experience Experience with tank setting, regulator work, leak testing, and start ups Boom/knuckle crane experience Familiarity with DOT logs/inspections and mobile ticketing systems Licenses & Compliance (NY Typical Requirements) This role follows typical propane delivery/service requirements in NY: CDL Class B or A required Hazmat + Tanker endorsements required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire Must meet DOT medical requirements Pre-employment drug screening and ongoing testing as required (drug free workplace) Background check (and any federal checks required for Hazmat credentialing) Company training/certifications may be required (industry safety and operations) Physical Requirements / Work Environment Regular lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling (with proper tools and help) Climbing in/out of trucks, kneeling/bending, working on uneven ground Outdoor work in all seasons and jobsite conditions (mud, ice, snow, construction sites) Must be able to wear required PPE: boots, gloves, eye protection, high-vis, etc. Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience (hourly) Health insurance with fully paid premium for employee Overtime potentially seasonally available Benefits include paid time off, IRA with company contribution, uniforms Training provided for the right candidate Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid orientation Paid time off Paid training Work Location: In person
