Propane Delivery Driver

Duties Safely operate propane delivery trucks adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Plan and execute delivery routes using GPS navigation systems, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries across local routes. Transport hazardous materials safely by following hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat), including proper documentation, labeling, and safety protocols. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including refrigerated trailers when applicable, to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or safety concerns. Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, hours of service, and compliance with DOT regulations while ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with truck loading/unloading in logistics cargo handling environments. CDL class B or A, with tanker and hazmat endorsements Prior delivery driver experience with route driving in diverse settings; familiarity with freight delivery is a plus. Knowledge of truck driving regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation), FMCSA regulations, and hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat). Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers safely over long distances on OTR routes. Experience handling hazardous materials such as propane or other hazardous substances with strict adherence to safety standards. Ability to navigate using GPS navigation systems efficiently while managing time effectively on delivery routes. Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures for bobtail trucks; physical ability to handle freight manually when necessary. Join us to drive your career forward!
