Propane Delivery Driver

Role Description The Propane Delivery Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Hanover, MA. This position is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering propane to residential and commercial customers, following all company procedures and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include operating delivery trucks and related equipment, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and completing delivery documentation and customer receipts accurately. The driver will interact with customers on site, answer basic service questions, and communicate any issues to the office or service team. The role may also involve assisting with basic yard work, cylinder handling, and supporting team members during peak seasons. Qualifications Strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with customers, address basic inquiries, and represent the company positively. Ability to perform Forklift Operation and safe material handling, including loading and unloading propane cylinders or related products. Experience in Training or mentoring colleagues on safety procedures, equipment use, or delivery best practices is beneficial. Background in Sales or upselling services and products, such as propane plans or related energy solutions, is an asset. Experience in Food & Beverage or other service industries demonstrating reliability, time management, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards is helpful. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL with appropriate endorsements for propane or hazardous materials is preferred or required, depending on regulations. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine inspections and report mechanical issues promptly. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, work in varying weather conditions, and follow strict safety and compliance guidelines. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and dependable attendance. Prior experience in delivery driving, logistics, or the energy/fuel industry is a plus.
