Propane Delivery Driver Southeast Kansas – Humboldt, KS Area Full-Time | Local Routes | Home Every Night $18–$24/hour depending on experience and endorsements About the Position D&D Propane Inc. is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Propane Delivery Driver to join our team serving residential and commercial customers throughout southeast Kansas. No problem. We are willing to train the right candidate and help you obtain your Commercial Driver’s License and required endorsements. What We Offer $18–$24/hour depending on experience and endorsements Local routes – home every night, no over-the-road travel Health and dental insurance Paid vacation starting at 13 days after your first year, increasing annually up to 22 days – plus unused vacation is paid out Paid holidays Seasonal overtime opportunities during winter heating season CDL training and endorsement assistance for qualified candidates – we’ll invest in you Stable, year-round employment with a team that values its people What You’ll Do Deliver bulk propane to residential and commercial customers on established local routes Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections including pressure gauges, connections, hoses, and valves Safely operate a bobtail delivery truck in compliance with DOT and company safety regulations Attach hoses, fill customer tanks, and follow all propane handling safety protocols Maintain accurate delivery records and account documentation using a handheld terminal Interact with customers professionally, answer questions, and provide excellent service Participate in on-call rotation for emergency deliveries during peak heating season Assist with equipment maintenance, tank inspections, and other seasonal duties as needed What We’re Looking For Class B CDL or higher with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred – OR willingness to obtain CDL and endorsements with our support Clean driving record Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical and Federal DOT medical card Compliance with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements High school diploma or equivalent Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, pull hoses, and work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-service oriented Valid driver’s license required; must be at least 21 years of age Preferred (Not Required) Previous propane, fuel, or hazmat delivery experience Familiarity with southeast Kansas roads and rural delivery routes Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle maintenance CETP (Certified Employee Training Program) certification Schedule & Work Environment This is a full-time position. Hours may vary seasonally—expect a steadier pace in warmer months and a more demanding workload during winter heating season. On-call rotation for emergency deliveries may include evenings and weekends. Work is performed primarily in a delivery vehicle with regular outdoor physical activity in all weather conditions.
