Project Services Coordinator Number of positions: 1 Job Location: Dunsmuir 06 Employment type: Temporary Region: Lower Mainland Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Hybrid Annual salary: $ 86,000.00 - 92,600.00 What you'll do Develops project management plans for major capital infrastructure projects, working in conjunction with Project Managers to ensure plans are accomplished according to expected results and advising of project planning and project management issues that could affect the accomplishment of objectives. Monitors the scope, scheduling and cost of projects and measures performance against targets. Identifies issues, formulates strategies and options and advises of corrective action required to resolve project management concerns. Incorporates change order requests into project management plans. Monitors financial transactions throughout the life of the projects and reviews and approves invoices within assigned signing authority. Maintains project budgets, analyzes variances and prepares budget analysis reports. Determines procurement strategies and develops proposal and tender documents, contracts and purchase orders in collaboration with the Procurement group. Develops, implements, coordinates and utilizes project management systems, tools and processes to effectively manage project scope, resources, schedules and costs, and for document management, issues tracking and report preparation purposes. Prepares monthly project management status reports and presentations, and prepares a variety of documents and reports requiring research and analysis of technical project management issues. Manages communications and event planning projects for public and community groups, First Nations representatives, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders in collaboration with staff from the Stakeholder Communications department, ensuring presentations and reports utilize basic technical writing principles and contain an appropriate level of technical information for intended audiences. Maintains liaison and participates with internal and external groups such as co-workers, consultants, suppliers, government agencies, First Nations representatives, public interest groups and other stakeholders who may have roles or interests in the planning, definition or implementation phases of major transmission infrastructure development projects. Takes lead directions from the Stakeholder Communications department with regard to coordinating public messaging and communications strategy. Participates in large multi-disciplinary project teams including in-house personnel and a variety of outside participants engaged at various stages of project development. Prepares analyses and documentation to support regulatory applications and the preparation of evidence related to major projects. Drafts responses to agency, public, intervener comments and requests for information on regulatory matters.
