This is
not
a purely office-based role. We are looking for a builder who understands project execution, can anticipate and manage risk, and is comfortable spending time in the field supporting construction teams.
• Lead the planning and execution of transportation infrastructure projects from mobilization through closeout
• Partner closely with field leadership, preconstruction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration
• Develop and maintain accurate cost reports, cash flow projections, and project forecasts
• Monitor project performance and proactively identify cost, schedule, and execution risks
• Support change management, claims, and client communications
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in accordance with Chandos quality standards
• Collaborate with superintendents and project teams to optimize construction sequencing and project execution
Qualifications
• 4+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor not self-development
• Experience delivering
bridges, LRT infrastructure, transit stations/hubs, or other complex transportation structures
• Proven experience managing
project forecasts, budgets, cost control, schedules, risk, and change management
• Strong understanding of how construction sequencing impacts project cost, productivity, and risk
• Experience working directly with clients, consultants, field operations, and subcontractors
• Experience with self-perform crews, structural concrete, structural steel, or complex staged construction is an asset
• Willing and able to travel up to 40-50% as required
