Project Manager - Fleet
CBREAbout the Role: As a CBRE Project Manager on the Integrated Fleet Services (IFS) team, you'll run fleet telematics and vehicle technology programs across North America, from technician mobilization through final quality review. Program leadership owns the client relationship; you own execution and reporting. As our client portfolio grows, the process you build on your first program becomes the playbook for the next. This role is remote within the U.S. What You'll Do: Run several installation and repair programs at once with one consistent process, so new programs launch quickly. Track site schedules, vehicle readiness, hardware and completion status for each, from kickoff through closeout. Schedule, direct and mobilize field technicians and third-party (3P) contractors across regions. Track each person through onboarding, documentation, training and field readiness so work starts on schedule, then assign work, set deadlines and hold teams to quality and timeline standards. Report program health to internal stakeholders, including program leadership, operations, finance and contracts. Deliver status updates and briefings on progress, risks and corrective actions, and lead reviews to build mitigation and backup plans with partners across CBRE business lines. Build and maintain the forecasts leaders plan against, including completion timelines, technician demand and coverage by region, and resource needs. Use that data to show where coverage falls short and recommend where to add technicians or contractors. Own reporting accuracy. Build and maintain trackers and dashboards, reconcile site, vehicle and technician data from multiple sources, and resolve discrepancies at the source. Review installed work for quality, safety and compliance. Document discrepancies, drive corrective action and recommend process improvements. Turn client specifications into clear work instructions and train field teams on them. Cross-train and coach team members; as the team grows, this role may take on direct reports. Support statement of work (SOW) compliance, invoicing, expense tracking and billing accuracy with internal finance and contracts partners. What You'll Need: Required: Five or more years of experience in project, program or operations roles, managing several concurrent programs or priorities against fixed deadlines. Experience scheduling, directing, training and holding technicians, contractors or other field personnel accountable, ideally across multiple locations. Experience managing multi-stage processes with documentation, compliance checkpoints and hard deadlines, such as onboarding, credentialing, processing or mobilization. Ability to write clear reports, forecasts and briefings for senior leaders, and to turn technical or policy requirements into plain instructions. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, with the ability to build trackers, forecast demand and capacity, reconcile multiple data sources, and calculate budget and billing figures. Quality assurance or inspection experience, including documenting findings and driving corrective action. Ability to travel up to 30% to visit sites and support field teams, including outdoor work at active vehicle yards. Valid driver's license. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, project management or a related field, or equivalent experience. MBA or project management certification (PMP or similar). Familiarity with telematics, sensor, camera or other vehicle hardware installation programs, or comparable aircraft or electronics maintenance work. Pay range: $100,000-$115,000 per year, based on experience and location. At CBRE, we lead by example and model our RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence). We encourage veterans and transitioning service members to apply. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience.
