Project Manager (Civil)

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager (Civil) to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent project management software, coordinating all phases of construction activities. Manage project budgets through Construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or similar software, ensuring cost control and financial accountability. Oversee the creation and review of construction plans, blueprints, and specifications utilizing Civil 3D and other design software to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project workflows and effective communication. Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance, regulatory adherence, and quality standards; conduct regular site inspections. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes via ProCore or Prolog to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Utilize construction management software to track progress, manage schedules, document issues, and generate reports for stakeholders. Lead project meetings focusing on schedule coordination, risk mitigation, and resolving on-site challenges promptly. Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies while maintaining a focus on project efficiency. Experience Proven experience managing large-scale civil or infrastructure projects within the construction industry. Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety protocols, and environmental compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams across various disciplines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong understanding of construction scheduling techniques including critical path method (CPM) scheduling. Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately to guide on-site activities. Skilled in managing project budgets from initial estimates through cost control measures; familiar with construction estimating processes. Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and team leadership. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively under tight deadlines.
