Project Manager – Automotive Automation (BIW / Powertrain)

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead automotive manufacturing automation projects, specializing in Body-in-White (BIW) welding and Powertrain systems. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to deliver complex automation projects on time, within budget, and to customer quality standards. Key Responsibilities · Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance. · Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality, risks, and deliverables. · Coordinate resources across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and on-site teams. · Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring requirements and project milestones are met. · Monitor project progress, resolve technical and operational issues, and implement corrective actions. · Prepare project reports, track milestones, and maintain project documentation. · Coordinate with domestic and international teams to ensure successful project execution. · Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications · Minimum 8 years of international project management experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing automation. · Strong knowledge of automotive Body-in-White (BIW) welding, Powertrain systems, or custom manufacturing equipment. · Proven experience managing projects from initial planning through installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance. · Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. · Ability to make timely decisions and resolve customer or on-site project issues. · Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills. · Ability to work effectively with international customers and engineering teams. · Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
