CANARIE has an immediate opening for Project Manager. This role will be accountable for implementing and administering CANARIE’s project management processes including reporting on these activities. This is a new full-time term position through May 31, 2028, that reports to CANARIE’s Director, Project Management Office. The salary range for this role is between $104,000 – $134,000. Key Responsibilities Lead projects through the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and formal closure Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, communications, procurement, quality, and governance requirements Manage stakeholder engagement and project communications, including meetings, expectations, status updates, key decisions, recommendations, and escalations Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes, capture lessons learned, and identify opportunities to improve future project delivery Other related duties and responsibilities, as required The Ideal Candidate To excel at CANARIE, you have a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively on teams and are also an energetic self-starter with self-motivation to work independently. What You Bring Education and Experience College diploma or university degree or a suitable combination of education, experience, or other relevant training Minimum of 5 years of relevant progressive experience in project management Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Experience working in an environment that uses Agile, Waterfall, and/or hybrid project delivery approaches Experience with leading CRM projects is desirable Skills Experience managing information technology projects Demonstrated leadership skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong time management and organizational skills Demonstrates strong presentation skills, effectively communicating information to diverse audiences Technical Proficiencies Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Experience with project portfolio management platforms and/or project management software Come Work with Us We are committed to employment equity and encourage anyone who can contribute to the diversification of ideas and perspectives to apply.
