Project Manager

We are an established company with a start-up culture. We are hiring for a newly structured Project Manager position. This role will have two major responsibilities: Support the Sr. Director of Supply Chain by translating the approved demand and procurement plan into an executable production plan and driving day-to-day execution from order to contract-manufacturer to 3PL warehouse. Drive assigned organizational initiatives, including new-product rollouts, via effective project management to ensure alignment across departments with respect to timing, deliverables and budgets. While there are qualitative metrics for the role, an overriding one is ensuring there are "no surprises!". The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following daily activities. Serve as the primary point of contact with contract manufacturers for production planning and execution. Coordinate logistics and transportation between manufactures and our 3PL warehouse(s). Build annual production plans with each manufacturer based on our demand schedule and send updates with quarterly forecasts one month before each quarter begins. Support the Sr. Director of Supply Chain in the operational execution of new product launches, coordinating Supply Chain and manufacturing activities, timelines, dependencies and readiness requirements to support on-time commercialization. Ensure all orders are placed, moved into production, and assigned confirmed delivery dates; manage production of each SKU against forecasts and launch dates. Drive manufacturers to meet delivery dates and KPIs; and follow up on pending credits and reimbursements. Communicate accurate, verified production status to Operations, Quality, Sales, and other cross-functional teams, and obtain open items, including documentation, from manufacturers. Translate the approved demand plan and procurement plan into an executable production plan and production schedule across contract manufacturers, ensuring alignment with inventory requirements, launch timing and manufacturing constraints. Manage production change requests after PO submission. Review upcoming work orders and production orders in NetSuite for accuracy. Troubleshoot and resolve production delays. Manage Genexa-supplied and co-manufacturer-supplied components. Confirm product release and logistics to the warehouse. Manage inventory disposition and releases at the warehouse. Required Education, Skills, and Experience Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. Three to five years of experience in supply planning, production planning, manufacturing operations or supply chain within CPG/OTC or a comparable environment, ideally with contract-manufacturing and new-product-launch exposure. One to five years of project management experience Experience with transportation/logistics, including LTL and small-parcel providers and platforms, preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
