Project Foreman Plumbing & HVAC

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Foreman specializing in Plumbing and HVAC to lead and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee daily operations on-site, manage teams of skilled tradespeople, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain project schedules. Your leadership will drive project efficiency, quality, and safety compliance while fostering a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and manage plumbing and HVAC installation teams on active construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Coordinate construction schedules, monitor progress, and adjust workflows to meet project deadlines. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications related to plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure accurate implementation. Conduct regular site inspections for quality control, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and adherence to construction regulations. Manage subcontractors and vendors, oversee procurement of materials, and track project budgets. Enforce federal construction safety regulations and oversee crew management to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Collaborate with project managers on contract administration, change orders, and project documentation including contracts and project schedules. Requirements Proven experience supervising plumbing and HVAC trades within commercial or large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, Prolog, HeavyBid or similar tools preferred. Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and managing construction schedules effectively. Extensive site management experience with a focus on safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations. Excellent communication skills for managing teams, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring clear managerial oversight. Familiarity with construction regulations governing commercial projects and experience supervising crews in a fast-paced environment. Ability to utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing as needed on-site. Strong organizational skills in budgeting, quality control, construction estimating, and project scheduling to ensure successful project delivery.
