Project Coordinator- Security Integration & Estimating (4+ years' Experience)

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team and oversee multiple electronic security system projects, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and security hardware. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the security integration, low-voltage, electronic security, or related industries who can effectively coordinate clients, technicians, vendors, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and project budgets. What You'll Do As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for keeping projects organized, on schedule, and within budget while serving as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams. Project Management & Estimating Coordinate multiple security integration projects from initial planning through completion. Develop project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and execution plans. Prepare estimates for multiple trades and project scopes. Review project requirements, drawings, specifications, and customer needs. Coordinate the procurement and delivery of equipment, materials, and products. Source and coordinate qualified subcontractors and vendors. Identify potential project risks and proactively address issues that could impact schedule, budget, or quality. Project Execution Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project milestones, schedules, costs, and deliverables. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is completed according to specifications. Troubleshoot project issues and coordinate solutions with the appropriate teams. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to company and industry standards. Coordinate final inspections, testing, documentation, and project closeout. Client & Team Communication Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project. Provide regular project updates and communicate schedules, changes, and potential issues. Build strong working relationships with customers, technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments. Coordinate communication between Sales, Operations, Service, Accounting, and project teams. Technical & Industry Responsibilities Maintain working knowledge of electronic security systems, including: Access Control Video Surveillance/CCTV Intrusion & Burglar Alarm Systems Door Hardware and related security technologies Stay current with security products, technologies, and industry developments. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and customers when needed. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to project execution and technical operations. Training & Development Develop and maintain training programs for Project Technicians and Technical Service Representatives. Provide training on project procedures, technical requirements, documentation, and company standards. Update training materials as products, technology, and industry practices evolve. What We're Looking For Experience in electronic security integration, low-voltage systems, access control, video surveillance, intrusion systems, or a related industry. Previous experience in project coordination, project management, estimating, or a similar role. Strong understanding of security system installations and project workflows. Experience coordinating technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to read and understand project scopes, specifications, drawings, and related documentation.
