Orange County Health Services/EMS Office of the Medical Director provides Medical and oversight for more than 2000 Paramedics in Orange County and it's Municipalities. Job Description General Functions : Conducts special project assignments and provides administrative support to the assigned division. Responsible for providing administrative support to the Division Director and conducting assignments to enhance and improve division operations. Research, analysis, and evaluation of programs, projects, and operational procedures are performed as part of this classification. Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of an assigned Supervisor or Manager. Performance is reviewed through observations, reports and results achieved. Representative Duties/Assignments : Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification. Oversee the Health Services Warehouse and maintain the inventory which includes regular maintenance, ordering, restocking and repairs of equipment. Maintain an ¿all hazards¿ approach with county procured resources, for rapid deployment when needed. Coordinate with Fl Department of Health in Orange County on maintenance and deployment of equipment and supplies for Persons with Special Needs (PSN) sheltering operations. Manage warehouse logistical operations during emergencies. Maintain the capability to respond to a no notice medical surge event and be able to establish the infrastructure for a 50 bed Alternate Care Site under austere conditions. Make recommendations to leadership on equipment needs including purchase, storage and performance. Operate with proficiency-forklifts, pallet jacks, light trucks and trailers. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study specified by the department and three (3) years of experience to be specified by the department. In lieu of the degree requirements, additional relevant experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License. Preferences Proficient in Microsoft Office. Forklift operator¿s certification FEMA IS-1 OR IS-230.e, IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-775 OR IS-2200 and IS-800 3 years of logistics and/or warehouse experience, including automated and semiautomated inventory management systems Florida EMT Certification Experience with Incident Command System and Emergency Support Function (ESF) 8- Health and Medical Application Deadline Open Date: 11/05/2026 Close Date: 12/05/2026 This posting is subject to close without prior notice.
