VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will help coordinate window and door projects for mid-rise developments from initial planning through production, delivery, installation, and project completion. Working closely with project managers, customers, contractors, suppliers, production, and installation teams, you will help keep projects organized, schedules on track, and information flowing between all parties. What You’ll Do Coordinate multiple mid-rise window and door projects from award through completion Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and scope requirements Assist with project documentation, submittals, shop drawings, approvals, and change orders Track project schedules, production requirements, deliveries, and installation timelines Coordinate information between customers, general contractors, project managers, production, shipping, and installation teams Communicate with contractors and site personnel regarding scheduling, site readiness, deliveries, and project requirements Monitor project milestones and identify scheduling or coordination issues before they impact the project Maintain accurate project files, correspondence, documentation, and records Assist with material take-offs, ordering, procurement, and delivery coordination Track outstanding information, approvals, deficiencies, and close-out requirements Attend project and coordination meetings as required Support project managers with day-to-day project administration and problem-solving Help ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, on schedule, and according to customer expectations What You Bring Experience in project coordination, construction, windows and doors, glazing, or a related field Experience working with mid-rise or multi-residential construction is considered a strong asset Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and project documents Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and changing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable communicating with contractors, customers, suppliers, and internal teams Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow issues through to resolution Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software Experience with window and door systems is considered an asset Compensation and Benefits Competitive wage Benefits plan Life and ADD Insurance coverage Group RRSP/DPSP Matching Program Professional development and career advancement Company events Company discounts A collaborative and supportive team Build Your Future With VDK This is an opportunity to build a career in construction project management while gaining hands-on experience coordinating complex mid-rise window and door projects.
