Project Coordinator

Role Overview Parameter Generation and Control is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee the complete lifecycle of manufacturing projects from order entry through production, validation, installation, and project closeout. This role serves as the central point of coordination between customers, sales, engineering, production, purchasing, service, and subcontractors to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to customer expectations. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from customer order receipt through final installation, validation, and project closeout. Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules and production timelines. Generate and maintain project Gantt charts for customer meetings and internal project reviews. Lead recurring project review meetings and provide status updates to internal stakeholders and customers. Identify project risks and proactively coordinate solutions to minimize schedule delays and cost impacts. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, records, and project folders. Coordinate production planning activities with manufacturing leadership. Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), Sales Orders (SOs), Work Orders, and supporting production documentation. Manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs) throughout the project lifecycle. Track project revenue, costs, and profitability. Support monthly project reviews and end-of-month closeout activities. Collaborate with Purchasing to identify material shortages and procurement risks early. Plan, schedule, and coordinate all validation and installation activities. Coordinate Final Test Procedures (FTP), validation protocols, site readiness requirements, and installation schedules. Source, evaluate, and coordinate subcontractors and external service providers. Manage subcontractor scope, scheduling, quotations, invoices, and profitability. Generate shipping documentation and coordinate freight and logistics activities. Serve as the primary customer point of contact throughout project execution. Maintain professional, timely, and effective communication via email, phone, and meetings. Qualifications High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, manufacturing operations, or production scheduling. Experience within a manufacturing or industrial equipment environment preferred. Strong understanding of production planning, project scheduling, and manufacturing workflows. Experience managing POs, SOs, project budgets, and revenue tracking. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365. Experience creating and maintaining Gantt charts and project schedules. Strong organizational and documentation management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage customer communications professionally and effectively. Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams preferred.
