Hyperion AutomationSummary Hyperion Automation is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the organization, communication, and follow-through required to deliver custom automation projects successfully. This role reports to the Technical Project Manager and works closely with cross-functional project teams to keep assigned work organized, maintain clear visibility to schedules, budgets, documentation, risks, open items, and client commitments, and help ensure issues are surfaced and addressed before they become project surprises. The Project Coordinator will begin by supporting active, complex projects and taking ownership of lower-complexity projects within defined guardrails. The Technical Project Manager initially retains overall project accountability. The Coordinator is expected to build increasing independence through demonstrated judgment, communication, organization, and execution. For a strong performer, the role may provide an opportunity to develop toward a future Project Manager position based on demonstrated capability and business needs. Project coordination is the primary responsibility of the role. When project workload allows, the Coordinator may also provide limited, defined support to Supply Chain and shop-floor logistics. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable coordinating independently across different teams and priorities. Extensive automation or project-management experience is not required, but the ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, follow through consistently, and take increasing ownership is essential. The ability to have difficult conversations when communicating priorities, concerns, or delays internally and externally is also important. Key Responsibilities Coordinate assigned lower-complexity projects from kickoff through closeout within established project requirements and Technical Project Manager oversight. Support larger or more complex projects through clearly assigned coordination responsibilities, follow-up actions, client communication, documentation, and project tasks. Maintain a clear, current view for the internal team of project status, upcoming milestones, open items, risks, blockers, and decisions needed. Keep project schedules, action items, documentation, and project-management systems current and useful. Follow through with internal team members, clients, and vendors to keep commitments visible and work moving. Surface stalled work, unclear ownership, missed commitments, or unresolved issues to the Technical Project Manager before they create larger project problems. Schedule, Budget, and Risk Awareness Maintain visibility to project schedules, key milestones, budget status, labor and material activity, and other project constraints within defined responsibilities. Proactively identify potential schedule, budget, scope, or execution concerns and bring them forward early, including when doing so requires a difficult conversation. Support project budget and schedule forecasting through status updates with accurate, current information. Help evaluate the impact of delays, changes, missing information, or conflicting priorities before they become project surprises.
