Location: Belleville, Ontario Vacancies: 1 Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent Employment Conditions: In office/shop, Monday to Friday (Days) Regular Work Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Anticipated Start Date: October 2026 Salary: $55,000.00 to $72,000.00 annually The Opportunity: BCS Automation is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator to support the administration and execution of contracts, bids, and RFPs across our growing portfolio of marine and industrial automation projects. This role is ideal for someone who is socially perceptive, collaborative, tactful, and comfortable building strong working relationships with customers and internal teams. The successful candidate enjoys digging into detailed documentation, creating orderly systems, solving problems, and learning on the job. Coming into this role, you do not need to be an expert in marine or electrical control systems but bring with you Project Management experience, where you’ll support the Contracts and Sales team by reviewing and maintaining contract documentation, tracking project milestones, supporting bid and proposal submissions, and coordinating with stakeholders alongside our Engineering team. You’ll play a key supporting role, while building valuable experience in the growing marine and industrial automation industry. Successful ownership of these responsibilities leads to pathways into Project Management or Contracts Specialist related roles with BCS. Why Join BCS? Your Role: Coordinate communication between customers and internal teams, including scheduling and participating in meetings, following up on action items, and helping keep projects on track Review, organize, and maintain detailed contract and project documentation Support your direct report, the General Manager and the Contracts and Sales team with bids, proposals, RFP responses, and customer submissions Assist the team in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and contractual commitments Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and status updates in coordination with internal teams Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns and supporting mitigation plans Monitor project scope, timelines, and budgets, and flag variances to the team Coordinate project resources and priorities across engineering, procurement, suppliers, and customers Support contract administration activities Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract administration, project management, and organizational processes Experience That Will Put You Ahead: Three to five years of relevant experience in business administration, project management, contract administration, or a related business environment with demonstrated capabilities, is ideal Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field Experience supporting bids, proposals, or RFP submissions is considered an asset Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technical environments is considered an asset Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Licenses: Valid driver’s license (G2 or G) Valid passport for international travel A CPIC and security check will be required after hire …
