Cornerstone Chemical CompanyProjects Coordinator *** This position may be filled as a direct-hire employee of the Company or through an affiliated staffing partner. *** Position Summary The Project Coordinator provides project administration, project controls, and execution support for capital expense projects across the manufacturing facility. Working closely with the Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders, this position coordinates project documentation, procurement activities, project schedules, budget tracking, contractor support, and project communications. The Project Coordinator serves as a key resource to ensure projects are organized, documented, and executed efficiently while maintaining compliance with company safety standards, project governance requirements, and financial controls. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Administration Support the planning and execution of capital and expense projects from initiation through project closeout. Coordinate project activities among Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Procurement, HSSEQ, contractors, and vendors. Maintain project documentation, records, and files in accordance with company standards. Facilitate project meetings and maintain meeting agendas, action logs, and meeting minutes. Track project deliverables and follow up on outstanding action items. Assist in project startup, commissioning, and closeout documentation. Project Controls & Reporting Maintain project schedules and milestones in collaboration with project managers and engineering teams. Track project progress aligned with approved scope, budget, and schedule objectives. Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports. Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, budget reporting, and variance analysis. Maintain project dashboards and project performance metrics. Support change management and scope control processes. Manage the transfer process from Maintenance to Capital project. Procurement & Contract Coordination Coordinate procurement activities for project materials, equipment, and services. Assist with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, bid packages, and contractor onboarding requirements. Track vendor quotations, equipment deliveries, and contract milestones. Maintain supply and equipment delivery schedules. Coordinate communication between vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders. Contractor Support Assist with contractor mobilization and site access requirements. Support coordination of safety orientations, permits, and required documentation. Monitor contractor documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements. Financial Administration Assist in preparing capital expenditure requests and project justification documentation. Support project budgets and expenditure tracking systems. Support monthly forecasting, project cost reconciliation, and capital spending reviews. Prepare reports supporting project financial performance and management reviews. Documentation & Compliance Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, project files, commissioning records, and turnover documentation. Ensure project records meet internal governance and document retention requirements. Support Management of Change (MOC) documentation and project approval processes. Coordinate document review workflows and approval routing. Maintain project communication records and project databases. Safety & Operational Support Promote compliance with all site safety expectations and company policies. Support project risk assessments and project readiness evaluations. Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable environmental, safety, and process safety requirements. Coordinate project activities to minimize operational disruption.
