Program Project Manager, Inventory & Technology
ConfidentialPosition Summary DCSL is standing up a dedicated warehouse in Martinsburg, West Virginia to receive, store and stage critical electrical and mechanical equipment for a leading AI infrastructure client's data center build. The Program PM, Inventory & Technology is one of three core DCSL team members at the site, alongside the Site Leader and the Warehouse Lead. This role owns the accuracy of the client's inventory and the systems that track it: the WMS/IMS, the equipment digital twin, and the client-facing dashboard. When the client asks what is in the building, where it is, and when it ships, this role's data is the answer. This is a site-based Program PM role focused on operational excellence. The Program PM owns the data and the client's view of it. The Warehouse Lead and the selected handling and rigging partner carry out the physical moves. The roles are designed to flex and support one another, and there will be times when the Program PM steps onto the floor to verify, count, or help keep a delivery moving. As DCSL grows, there is room for this role to support the broader operations team and additional clients. Where This Role Sits The Program PM, Inventory & Technology initially reports to the Senior Director of Program Operations, who owns the systems layer across DCSL: the WMS, the equipment digital twin, and the customer-facing reporting platform. As the Martinsburg site matures, day-to-day management may transition to the Site Leader. On-site, the role works every day with the Site Leader, who leads the site and the overall client relationship, and the Warehouse Lead, who manages receiving and floor execution. Handling and rigging are performed by an outside provider coordinated by DCSL. Program Operations owns the data and the client's view of it. The site team and the handling partner own the physical execution. What You'll Do Own inventory accuracy for the client's equipment, from receipt through storage to outbound shipment to the client's project site. Set up and maintain the client's project in the WMS/IMS and the equipment digital twin, keeping every unit, location, and status current. Lead receiving data capture with the Warehouse Lead, including joint receiving inspections, serial and tag verification, photos, and checks of loose parts and accessory kits against shipping documents. Run a cycle count program and reconcile discrepancies quickly, documenting the cause and the fix. Maintain the client's dashboard and reporting view so the client and DCSL leadership see accurate, timely information on inventory, inbound and outbound activity, and need-by dates, while protecting internal data. Track the client's equipment schedule against need-by dates and flag risks to the Site Leader early. Prepare and verify outbound documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and release paperwork, for shipments to the client's project site. Coordinate data and documentation with the handling and rigging partner, carriers, and manufacturers so records match what physically moved. Serve as the client's day-to-day contact for inventory and data questions, and support the Site Leader in client meetings and reporting. Support billing accuracy by confirming storage, handling, and pass-through activity is recorded correctly for invoicing. Help stand up the site at launch, including system setup, location labeling, and the reporting cadence with the client. Drive continuous improvement in data quality, reporting, and inventory processes at the site.
