ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Manager, Facilities Operations and Maintenance, this position is responsible for leading the full procurement and contract management lifecycle function for Property Services. This role provides expertise in sourcing, contract development, award, and post-award contract lifecycle management. It is accountable for the development and approval of contract documents, determination of procurement methodologies, trade agreement analysis, quality assurance of procurement documentation, and oversight to ensure alignment with corporate procurement governance requirements. This role leads a team of contract services staff responsible for Property Services contracts, drives continuous improvement to ensure effective contractor performance and risk management, and leads the modernization of procurement practices, systems, and contract management tools. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Collaborates/works with stakeholders and follows the corporate strategic leadership, planning and direction related to this function. Provides leadership for the Contract Services program, overseeing the administration and execution of procurement processes and contract lifecycle activities for Property Services. Serves as a voting member of the Procurement Review Committee (PRC), contributing to adjudication of bid irregularities, bid disputes, non standard procurements, and other complex procurement matters.
