Professional Mover

Job Overview As a Professional Mover, you’ll help customers move and receive their belongings safely and on schedule. You’ll prepare items for transport, load and unload vehicles, and deliver items to homes or businesses. The role combines hands-on moving, driving, and customer service. Your impact: Careful handling and clear communication help customers feel confident throughout their move. Duties Pack, carry, load, unload, and position furniture, boxes, and other items using safe lifting practices. Drive a van or box truck on assigned routes; follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) rules. Use mobile devices to review routes, delivery details, and job updates. Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment when needed; secure loads for transport. Provide courteous customer service and complete delivery paperwork accurately. Skills Essential: Safe manual handling, heavy lifting, moving, and load-and-unload experience or ability; follow workplace weight-handling and safety procedures. Essential: Valid driving ability and a careful approach to route driving and traffic regulations. Preferred: Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, and material handling equipment operation, including pallet jacks. Preferred: Delivery driver, delivery driving, courier, van driver, personal vehicle delivery, or commercial driving experience; box truck and commercial truck driving experience. Preferred: Manual transmission experience and familiarity with DOT regulations. Pay: $14.97 - $20.87 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
