Production Worker/Forklift Operator

Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator / Production Worker to join our Shipping & Receiving Department . The primary responsibility is to safely offload large batches of wood sheets and handle incoming and outgoing materials, supporting the smooth operation of our production and finishing processes. Key Responsibilities: Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and offload wood sheets and other materials. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments. Prepare and stage outgoing shipments according to schedules and production requirements. Assist in material handling for production and finishing departments as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety regulations. Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly. Qualifications / Skills: Valid forklift certification required . Experience in shipping, receiving, or production/manufacturing is an asset. Ability to handle large, heavy materials safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Physically capable of standing, lifting, and moving materials for extended periods.
