Production Worker

Production worker To operate machinery and assembles parts related to vertical turbine pumps in a warehouse setting Key Responsibilities -Manufacturing: Feed raw materials into machines and assemble products by hand or using power tools. -Quality Control: Inspect finished items and remove faulty parts to meet safety standards. -Packaging: Label boxes and prepare finished goods for shipping and warehouse storage. -Maintenance: Keep the workstation clean and report any equipment problems to a supervisor. - Assist with the organization and maintenance of the shop area - Operate forklift to move materials and equipment as needed - Assemble and fabricate components according to specifications - Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete tasks - Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Required Skills -Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy materials. (Often up to 50 lbs.) -Attention to Detail: Following strict safety and quality guidelines. -Teamwork: Communicating clearly with other operators and line leaders - Proficient in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot issues - Experience with assembling and fabricating components - Familiarity with power tools and hand tools for various tasks to include band saw and hydraulic press - Operate Forklifts to include an Electric Standup Forklift -Must be able to read measuring devices, such as tape measures and scales. -Must have an aptitude for numbers -Must have some computer skills. -Must have a valid Texas Driver's License Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: vertical turbine: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Dickinson, TX 77539 (Required) Work Location: In person
