Adhere to all work safety practices, including the use of PPE, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, and fall protection.
Essential Duties:
• Effectively operate the blow mold machine and associated equipment
• Maintain equipment cleanliness through regular sanitation
• Use a pallet jack to transport cartons into the production area
• Ensure smooth operation of all related equipment such as caser and stacker
• Taste test all milk-based products as they are produced
• Keep the workspace organized and inspection-ready at all times
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Promptly report any food safety and quality concerns to management
• Document all required information accurately according to SOPs
• Collect samples for Quality Assurance testing as needed
• Maintain clear and legible paperwork
• Exhibit regular and reliable attendance
• Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 6+ months of experience in dairy, manufacturing, or related fields preferred
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Effective communicator for task completion
• Able to work in a cold, wet environment for extended periods
• Capability to adapt to varying temperature zones
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work in confined spaces
• Flexibility to meet departmental demands, including weekends and holidays
• Physical capability to frequently reach and lift up to 50 pounds
Physical Demands:
• Regular standing, walking, and various physical movements
• Able to reach and manipulate objects and controls
• Occasional sitting and climbing
• Lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds routinely
