Production Supervisor I

Job Summay We are seeking an exceptional Production Supervisor I , which is a significant role for the Production department and related equipment, materials, record keeping, safety and quality assurance training. This position is on-site reporting to the Associate Director, Manufacturing. RESPONSIBILITIES Training Operators in all aspects of safety and cGMP. Monitor Operator's training in Extraction, Emulsion, Granulation and Spray Dry Departments. Make sure products are manufactured/ packaged as required by the specification and batch record. Maintaining all applicable records for production functions. Maintain / Monitor inventory levels. Procurement of parts and materials (sanitation, chemicals, janitorial supplies, PPEs, and Packaging materials) needed in the Production department. Work closely with Maintenance department making sure equipment is in operating conditions. Support EHS manager and implementing ZIC Culture plant wide. Ensure all personnel follow EI-IS safety regulations. Adhere to all company policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, including FDA, cGMP (NSF), Food Safety (FSSC 22000), Organic, Halal, and Kosher standards, and OSHA guidelines, while ensuring a safe, compliant, and audit-ready work environment. Fostering an inclusive and positive team environment that provides an open exchange of ideas, stressing, honesty, integrity, and respect and providing open participation to achieve desired department results. Understand and perform all quality and food safety responsibilities in compliance with NSF and Food Safety Management Systems. Work with scheduling department to develop and maintain production schedule. Conduct performance evaluations for operators. QUALIFICATIONS High school Education or greater (Undergraduate/ Science related) 1 - 3 Years of Supervision experience and 2 - 4 Years in manufacturing environment Ability to lift 25 kilos (55 pounds), standing must of the time and go up and down stairs. Pushing and pulling boxes and drums. Excellent oral and writing skills. Managing diversity, and team and people development Knowledge of GMP, ISO, Regulatory documents, and Quality Systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) Authorized to work in the United States.
