Production Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations within our facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily production activities, ensure safety compliance, and drive continuous process improvements. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities on the production line, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to schedules. Lead, motivate, and manage production or assembly teams to achieve operational targets while fostering a positive team environment. Enforce safety standards in production areas by conducting regular safety audits, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and promoting safety awareness among team members. Interpret manufacturing documents such as work orders, technical drawings, and process instructions to facilitate accurate assembly and production. Utilize measuring instruments and hand tools to verify product specifications, perform quality checks, and support mechanical assembly tasks. Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow. Operate forklifts and other power tools safely for material handling, inventory management, and equipment setup as needed. Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to support production needs while following proper ergonomic practices. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including shift reports, incident logs, and inventory documentation. Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure machinery operates at peak performance. Qualifications Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with a strong understanding of production processes. Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency in using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely within a manufacturing setting. Strong Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in process improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing methodologies. Ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Familiarity with safety protocols specific to manufacturing environments including heavy lifting procedures. Strong organizational skills with the ability to interpret complex manufacturing documents accurately. Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments and ensure seamless workflow.
