Job Summary Love, Ravin Collection is a growing home décor brand specializing in beautifully crafted decorative pillow covers. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Production Seamstress & Studio Assistant to join our creative team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality decorative pillow covers from start to finish, including pattern creation, measuring, cutting, sewing, and finishing. You will also assist with daily studio operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment as needed. The ideal candidate is a dependable self-starter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently in a small-business environment. Duties Operate industrial sewing machines and sergers to construct and finish high-quality decorative pillow covers according to design specifications. Create, modify, and work from sewing patterns to produce various pillow styles, including square, lumbar, and bolster designs. Measure and manually cut fabrics accurately using measuring instruments and pattern templates to ensure consistent sizing and construction. Maintain strict quality standards throughout production, ensuring accurate dimensions, consistent seams, properly installed closures, and exceptional overall workmanship. Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary corrections to maintain product quality. Organize and maintain sewing equipment, fabrics, production supplies, and workstations to support an efficient and safe working environment. Manage production tasks independently while meeting established timelines and order fulfillment needs. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory, fabrics, and supplies. Assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and general studio operations. Support order fulfillment, including preparing, packing, and shipping customer orders. Perform basic computer and technology-based tasks related to inventory, production, and order management. Assist with occasional customer service and additional studio responsibilities as needed. Skills Previous sewing experience and proficiency operating industrial sewing machines and sergers are required. Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, seam construction, fabric handling, and finishing methods. Ability to create, interpret, modify, and work from sewing patterns. Proficiency using measuring instruments and accurately cutting fabric to specified dimensions. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct quality issues during production. Ability to work efficiently and independently while maintaining consistent craftsmanship. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple production responsibilities. Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks without constant supervision. Familiarity with inventory management, materials handling, and warehouse operations is a plus. Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new technology, software, and business processes. Adaptability and willingness to assist with overlapping responsibilities in a growing small-business environment. Important: Previous sewing experience is required. This is not an entry-level sewing position. Applicants must already possess strong foundational sewing skills and experience operating sewing equipment. Training will be provided on our specific pillow construction methods, products, quality standards, and studio systems. Schedule & Compensation Hours: Approximately 10–20 hours per week to start.
