At this time, SCI is recruiting highly qualified candidates whose background and career goals meet our needs for a Production Scheduling Support position in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will assist in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products through the complete production cycle, utilizing engineering plans, production specifications, and MRP system data to support labor loading, capacity requirements, and manufacturing releases. What You'll Do Assist in identifying material constraints on any new orders received from customers. Assist in releasing purchase requisitions to the purchasing department. Assist in creating and maintaining material status reports in the MRP system that effectively communicate the material position and production plan for customer orders. Assist in releasing discrete jobs to the manufacturing floor according to the production plan as supported by material availability. Assist in resolving material issues stemming from attrition or unforeseen challenges that could impact planned production kit releases. Assist in ensuring material is processed through the MRP system in a timely fashion to enable seamless customer order shipments and invoicing. What You'll Bring Experience: 1–2 years of experience working with materials or production scheduling. Basic understanding of MRP systems and material control processes in a manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to track customer orders, discrete jobs, and material availability. Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across purchasing, scheduling, and manufacturing teams. How to Stand Out Prior experience with enterprise ERP/MRP software platforms (such as Oracle). Previous experience supporting production scheduling or materials handling within electronics or high-reliability manufacturing operations. Why Join Us?
