Role Description The Production Scheduler is a full-time on-site role based in South Beloit, IL, responsible for coordinating and optimizing daily production activities. This role involves creating, updating, and maintaining production schedules, aligning capacity, materials, and labor to meet customer delivery requirements. The Production Scheduler collaborates closely with production, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to prioritize work orders, resolve scheduling conflicts, and monitor progress against plan. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing demand, lead times, and inventory levels, adjusting schedules to address constraints or changes, and communicating clear status updates and expectations to stakeholders. The role also supports continuous improvement efforts by identifying bottlenecks, recommending process improvements, and contributing to more efficient planning and resource utilization. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize production schedules and perform effective production planning . Strong analytical skills for interpreting data, capacity, and demand to make sound scheduling decisions. Clear and professional communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and providing updates on schedule status. Experience with inventory control practices to align material availability with production requirements. Previous experience in manufacturing or aerospace/industrial environments, preferably in a scheduling or planning role. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and common office software (e.g., spreadsheets and scheduling tools). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, supply chain, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
