Production Scheduler

Quality Manufacturing a growing metal fabrication company located in Urbandale and Des Moines, IA. is looking to hire a Production Scheduler within the Weld Department. This position will facilitate workflow with a variety of production areas to support on time delivery of parts utilizing ERP/MRP systems. The Production Scheduler will also create, manage, and optimize daily/weekly production schedules to balance demand with capacity Ability to work overtime as needed, is necessary, must be a dependable self-starter with a high attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision. APPLY TODAY: https://www.qualitymfgcorp.com/careers/ Production Scheduler Job Responsibilities: Coordinates with other production areas, shipping, inventory, planning, and procurement teams to support workflow and ensure materials and resources are available for scheduled work. Adjusts schedules as needed in response to production changes, material delays, or equipment issues, and communicates updates to production staff and management Maintains daily and weekly production schedules based on sales orders, material availability, and production capacity to ensure customer deadlines are met. Monitors work in progress, inventory levels, and backorders, identifying and reporting potential delays or issues to the Production Manager and Production Planning team. Enters and maintains accurate data in ERP and MRP systems, and assists in generating reports on schedule status, inventory, and production progress. Supports and participates in production meeting by providing schedule updates, material availability information, and progress status, while following all safety and quality procedures.
