Production Scheduler

Job Title: Scheduler Location: Hauppauge, NY Duration: Temp. to Hire Shift: 1st Job Description: We are seeking a Production Planner / Manufacturing Coordinator responsible for managing production schedules, coordinating material flow, and ensuring timely completion of customer orders. The ideal candidate will work closely with manufacturing, planning, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues, track work orders, manage shortages, and support daily shop floor operations. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate production schedules and work order priorities. Track material availability, inventory, and production progress. Resolve scheduling conflicts and support corrective actions. Maintain accurate ERP/MRP system data and production records. Support capacity planning, shortage resolution, and urgent customer requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery, quality, and cost goals. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing coordination, or shop floor control. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing processes. Ability to read blueprints, routings, and production travelers. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
