Role Description The Production Scheduler is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX, responsible for coordinating daily production activities to meet customer demand and operational goals. This role involves creating, maintaining, and adjusting production schedules, monitoring job progress, and communicating changes to relevant teams. The Production Scheduler works closely with operations, warehouse, and field teams to ensure optimal use of labor, materials, and equipment while minimizing delays and downtime. Daily tasks include reviewing orders and capacity, updating systems and documentation, tracking inventory availability, and resolving scheduling conflicts. The role also supports continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, proposing process enhancements, and ensuring that scheduling practices align with company policies and safety standards. Qualifications Strong production scheduling and production planning skills, with experience coordinating work orders and timelines. Solid analytical skills to interpret data, forecast demand, and optimize resource allocation. Effective communication skills to collaborate with operations, warehouse, and field teams and provide clear updates. Experience with inventory control, including tracking materials, managing stock levels, and aligning inventory with schedules. Proficiency with scheduling software, ERP systems, or related production management tools. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of construction, manufacturing, or field-service operations is beneficial; prior experience in a similar industry is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in operations, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
