We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the Production Scheduler role at our food manufacturing facility located at 90 Stemmers Lane, Westampton, NJ 08060. The Production Scheduler is responsible for supporting the Planning Manager with material replenishment and production scheduling by verifying counts on the floor and investigation discrepancies. The Production Scheduler will work with and coordinate multiple resources ensuring requirements are met and engaging additional members and escalate issues of any to appropriate channels as necessary. This position is also responsible for maintaining a high level of safety and quality when executing all tasks. What will you be doing: Monitors daily production activities, materials flow and ERP transactions to maintain accurate production schedules. Accurately and efficiently release work orders using the ERP to meet production needs. Daily work order reconciliation to identify and resolve any issues that may affect the production schedule. (ie: material shortages or delays) Communicate delays in production due to material shortages to supervisors and managers prior to the scheduled production run. Conduct daily/weekly in process production facility walk throughs to check the status of work orders Work with department supervisors and managers to identify and correct any discrepancies found that could cause a delay in production. Reviews reports generated from the ERP to identify any discrepancies and initiate any corrective actions identified to eliminate production delays and/or errors. Responsible for following and enforcing food safety and food quality programs Complete training as assigned. Must follow Batchline Solutions policies and procedures Perform all other related duties as assigned or required Who you are and why you're right for us: High School Diploma or equivalent required, A.A or B.S strongly preferred 2+ years of related experience in food handling, procurement and vendor management, warehousing or materials management in a manufacturing environment Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.) and other google applications (Gmail, sheets, etc.) Excellent communicator both verbal and written. Ability to work calmly under pressure, multi-task and adapt to continuous change Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (-9º-42º Fahrenheit) for 8 or more hours.
