ClariosWhat you will do We’re hiring a Production Scheduler to manage and optimize production schedules within a manufacturing environment, ensuring customer demand is met while balancing plant capacity, inventory, and operational priorities. This role works closely with Operations, Customer Service, Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping, and plant leadership and serves as a key backup to the Production Control Supervisor. This position plays an important role in connecting customer requirements with plant execution, helping ensure the right products are produced and shipped at the right time while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and plant efficiency. What Does Success Look Like (How you will do it) Develop, maintain, and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, inventory requirements, and plant capacity. Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to address changing priorities, material constraints, capacity limitations, and customer needs. Manage finished goods inventory levels and analyze demand and inventory trends to maintain target stock levels while minimizing excess inventory. Track customer order fill rates, schedule attainment, and on-time shipment performance, identifying and addressing gaps as needed. Coordinate across Operations, Customer Service, Inventory Control, Receiving, and Shipping to resolve scheduling, inventory, and fulfillment issues. Generate and analyze production, inventory, and shipment reporting, identify process improvement opportunities, and provide backup leadership support to the Production Control Supervisor. What we look for Required Demonstrated experience developing and managing production schedules in a manufacturing environment . Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment . Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, reporting, data analysis, and trend analysis. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and collaborate across multiple plant functions. Preferred Experience with ERP/manufacturing planning systems , preferably QAD or a similar system. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and/or previous leadership or cross-functional project experience.
