Production Scheduler

We are seeking a Production Scheduler to join our team in Mount Union, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for translating production plans into actionable schedules, ensuring products are manufactured and delivered on time while maximizing the efficient use of resources. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer requirements and company objectives. Write, allocate, and issue production work orders. Expedite work orders throughout the facility to ensure timely completion. Monitor production progress and workflow to identify bottlenecks, delays, and capacity constraints. Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate production records. Prepare and distribute daily production and scheduling reports. Work closely with Production, Sales, and Purchasing teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery. Communicate schedule changes, production status updates, and potential issues to management and key stakeholders. Review documents, materials, and products for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications and standards. Support continuous improvement efforts related to scheduling, planning, and workflow efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook/email. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments. Analytical skills to evaluate production capacity, resource availability, and scheduling constraints. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production scheduling practices. Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and/or Advanced Planning Systems preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.
