Production Plant Manager (Injection Molding)

We are seeking a hard-working Production Manager that will supervise the activity of the production department and staff. This position offers the opportunity to be a key part of the management team, implement change, and be part of the future direction of the company. Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for three production shifts activities and staff. Oversee all work centers, work instructions, mold catalog, preventative maintenance activities. Oversee, develop, and conduct new part qualifications and process control, IQOQPQ. Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. Required Skills/Abilities: Injection molding experience, processing capability, mold evaluation, troubleshooting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to handle frequent interruptions. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Reliable and trustworthy. Education and Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in molding with a proven history of successful molding and management skills. Technical knowledge of plastic injection molding equipment, automation, tooling development, and injection molding processes. Understanding of mold design/development (building molds/trials), making recommendations for mold-ability issues. Experienced in developing teams (training, mentoring, hiring, etc.).
