Production Plant Labourer Job Type: Full-Time Contract Starting Wage: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience) Seasonal position: 7 months contract with possible opportunity for permanent position transition About the Role Annelida Soil Solutions Ltd. is looking for a reliable, hardworking Production Plant Labourer to join our team in Nisku, Alberta. This position supports daily production, packaging, material handling, and general plant operations. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with heavy lifting, enjoys hands-on work, and can keep up in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to take on a variety of tasks to help keep production running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily production, product filling, bagging, labelling, and packaging. Operate production equipment and machinery following appropriate training. Lift, move, stack, and palletize raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies. Wrap pallets and prepare finished products for storage and shipment. Load and unload materials as required. Support on production line as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Monitor product quality and report any issues to the supervisor. Assist with general plant, warehouse, and production duties as needed. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Qualifications & Requirements Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work throughout the shift. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking, with a strong work ethic. Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, or agriculture is an asset but not required. Forklift experience or certification is an asset. Working Conditions Industrial production and warehouse environment. Frequent standing, walking, bending, repetitive movements, and lifting. Exposure to soil-based materials and dust. Duties and workload may vary based on production requirements.
