What You’ll Do:
• Maintain the production schedule and upcoming-run calendar, completing readiness checklists 7-14 days ahead of each run
• Confirm raw materials, packaging, labels, pallets, and components are available, correct, and in the right quantities before staging
• Identify shortages, late deliveries, or incorrect materials early and escalate risks with clear recommendations
• Prepare and maintain work orders and keep ERP/MRP, Airtable, and inventory systems accurate and up to date
• Run scheduled cycle counts, investigate inventory variances, and reconcile physical counts against system records
• Coordinate pre-production staging with the warehouse team and make sure unused materials are counted, labeled, and returned
• Expedite missing or delayed materials by following up with purchasing, vendors, and internal teams
• Send concise readiness reports to the Production Manager and track open risks and corrective actions to resolution
• Help document standard work for receiving, staging, and inventory, and recommend practical process improvements
What We’re Looking For:
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing coordination, production planning, inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management
• Experience with production schedules, work orders, inventory systems, or ERP/MRP tools
• Proficient with spreadsheets and comfortable learning new operational systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
• Proactive, clear communicator who flags issues early and stays calm under pressure
• Comfortable working both at a desk and on the production floor, and collaborating with production, warehouse, purchasing, and quality teams
• Experience in food, chemical, packaging, consumer products, or regulated manufacturing is a plus
• Experience with cycle counting, barcode scanning, lot tracking, and material traceability is a plus
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified is a plus
• Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous-improvement practices is a plus
