Production Planning & Inventory Coordinator (Bilingual English/Korean) Location: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site / 40 hours per week / Mon - Fri) Pay Range: $55,000 – $60,000 / year (Depending on Experience) Department: Production Planning Direct Reporting: Production Planning Manager About the Role Koswire has been the industry leader in stainless steel wire production worldwide since its founding in 1977. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Production Planning & Inventory Coordinator who is fluent in both English and Korean to join our company . Reporting directly to the Production Planning Manager , this role provides hands-on support in production scheduling, process management, raw material distribution, and supply chain tracking. You will gain comprehensive operational experience across both office planning and shop-floor inventory management, with structured guidance and internal forklift training provided. Key Responsibilities 1. Production Scheduling & Process Support Assist the Production Planning Manager in creating, updating, and monitoring daily and weekly production schedules. Track manufacturing process flows and production outputs to ensure on-time delivery schedules. Prepare daily production status reports and communicate updates between management and floor supervisors. 2. Raw Material & Inventory Management Coordinate the receipt, staging, and distribution of raw materials and sub-materials based on active production schedules. Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods. Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory data within the system. 3. Supply Chain & Material Handling Support raw material supply chain operations by tracking vendor delivery schedules and incoming material receipts. Coordinate material movement between the warehouse and production lines using material handling equipment. Operate a forklift to move materials within the facility (In-house training and certification provided). 4. Cross-Departmental Communication Serve as a bilingual liaison between management, production personnel, and external logistics partners. Translate operational documents, schedules, and reports between English and Korean as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Entry-level to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production control, inventory management, or logistics (Preferred; motivated fresh graduates are welcome). Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Korean (Required). Technical & Equipment Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word). Ability to learn and operate a forklift (Forklift experience is a plus, but in-house training and certification will be provided). Education: High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field is a plus. Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
