Production Planning / Expediter Assistant

Tokai Carbon GS is looking to add to its world class team of highly trained and skilled personnel. We provide carbon and graphite solutions for Aerospace, EDM, Fuel cell and Semiconductor markets. Tokai Carbon GS has earned a reputation for leading the industry in precision manufacturing. Essential Functions: Assemble and release job routers based on Engineering or Quote instructions. All job-related data entry functions. Reconciliation of material and job discrepancies with Production Planner. Data collection, analysis, and reporting of production-related metrics to management. -Track jobs against start and ship dates. -Get late-starting jobs moving with Production Administration and management of production related ISO 9000 paperwork. Work and effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors. -Get job status from Supervisors, AFMs, and Plant Managers. Ability to comply with Tokai Carbon GS standards of operations. Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company. Qualifications: ERP Systems experience with a concentration on job and inventory management Job-Shop experience Troubleshooting experience with job cost and inventory variances Proficient with MS Office products: especially Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio. Non-Essential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned by management Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
