te with various departments within the operations, supply chain and sales, to create a comprehensive production schedule based on customer demands, inventory levels, and production capacity
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including material sku’s to achieve production goals while minimizing waste and downtime
• Inventory Management: Work closely with purchasing/inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels and help reduce excess inventory
• Production Coordination: Coordinate with managers and group leads to ensure smooth workflow, resolve production-related issues, and maintain on-time delivery
• Process Optimization: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce lead times and identify opportunities for sot reductions
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to align production schedules with sales forecasts, inventory plans and business objectives
Skills
• Must have a HS Diploma
• 2+ years of work experience in an office setting
• Self-starter and able to perform the job with minimal supervision once trained
• Proficient in the use of computers and/or MMI ERP system
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams
• Strong work ethic and attendance
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Some college or specialized training
• Preferably in manufacturing
