Job Overview Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler for a full-time, fixed-term opportunity in Sandy Run, SC. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining production plans, managing inventory levels, and ensuring materials and finished goods are available in the right location at the right time to meet forecasted customer demand. Job Description - Production Pl… Responsibilities of the Production Planner/Scheduler Create, maintain, and communicate production plans to meet customer demand while controlling costs. Manage inventory and ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained against established targets. Proactively identify and manage inventory risks. Ensure inventory is positioned appropriately to meet forecasted demand. Maintain accurate Item Master data for DRP/MPS settings. Communicate with Procurement regarding future raw material requirements. Coordinate with Product Development and Commercial teams regarding new product launches. Manage and approve new intercompany orders. Respond to stock availability requests and order amendments. Coordinate import and export activities between production sites, warehouses, suppliers, and customers. Support customs documentation, import/export compliance, and international trade requirements. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant manufacturing planning experience may be considered. Experience with ERP/MRP systems, such as JDE, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems. Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and inventory control. Understanding of supply chain and Material Requirements Planning (MRP). Experience analyzing inventory levels, demand forecasts, and production capacity. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and forecasting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Finance.
