We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner/Scheduler to coordinate production activities, balance customer demand with available capacity, and ensure materials, labor, and equipment are aligned to meet delivery requirements. This role will work closely with Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, and Customer Service to maintain an efficient and reliable production schedule. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules Convert customer demand and sales forecasts into actionable production plans Review capacity, labor, equipment, inventory, and material requirements Coordinate with purchasing to ensure raw materials and components are available when needed Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, shortages, downtime, or changing priorities Maintain accurate planning and scheduling data in the ERP/MRP system Track key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, inventory levels, and production efficiency Communicate schedule changes clearly to production supervisors and cross-functional teams Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to workflow, capacity, and inventory management Support cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and analysis of excess or obsolete materials Prepare production reports and provide updates to management Create and maintain outbound truck schedules, ensuring on time delivery Perform other duties as assigned Availability to work overtime as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or a related field preferred Five (5) plus years of experience in production planning, scheduling, materials planning, or manufacturing operations Experience using ERP/MRP systems Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Proficiency with Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and reporting Ability to interpret production data, inventory reports, and demand forecasts Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong attention to detail Physical Requirements: Primarily office-based within a manufacturing environment Ability to walk through the production facility and spend limited periods standing Compensation : $25.00/hour
