This role is responsible for coordinating the production schedule, monitoring inventory levels while ensuring that materials and equipment are used efficiently to meet customer’s demands as well as deadlines. Location: Dallas, Texas This position is found within our Operations’ Department. Team size: You will work as a part of a team consisting of a Purchasing Manager and two Purchasing Agents while collaborating with all 75 employees at this location to meet the organization’s goals. International connections: Due to the global structure of our group of companies, there is regular coordination with international locations, in particular with Germany and the Netherlands. Project work often takes place in intercultural teams. Your Essential Tasks: · Develop and maintain detailed production plans that are aligned with demand, forecasts and capacity limitations using the organization’s ERP system (M1) · Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure the accuracy of available materials and components. · Attends, communicates, and contributes productively during Design Review Meetings to ensure all jobs that are transferring from Engineering to Production are complete and accurate. · Owns the Production Tracking Documentation System, by reviewing, revising, printing, organizing, and issuing all needed documents into the production program. · Reports daily job progression to the Operations Board and Management Team. · Ensures that the Production Program is being followed by all departments, communicates to management when there are significant deviations. · Creates work instructions, procedures, and other like instructional documents to capture specific activity steps for knowledge sharing and training. · Follows the plant operations structure to resolve challenges.
