Production Planner Manager

Job Summary We’re seeking a Production Planner Manager to lead production planning, scheduling, materials planning, and inventory control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll ensure customer demand aligns with manufacturing capacity, material availability, and inventory objectives while driving continuous improvement across planning and supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute production plans and schedules. Manage raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory. Forecast production and material requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer commitments. Lead planning meetings and monitor schedules for risks or delays. Maintain ERP/MRP data accuracy and reporting. Drive improvements in planning, scheduling, and inventory management. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in production planning, materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain management. ERP/MRP systems experience (JD Edwards preferred; SAP/NetSuite acceptable). Strong knowledge of capacity planning, inventory management, and production scheduling. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting). At least one relevant certification (APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work on-site in Boonton, NJ (no relocation assistance). Nice to Have: JD Edwards ERP experience. Supervisory/management background. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ISO 9001 experience. Hyperion reporting and S&OP exposure. Additional Info: Must pass a 5-panel drug test and background check. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred. Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
