Duties The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in production management systems, ERP software such as SAP, and lean manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and operational excellence. Develop detailed production schedules aligned with customer demands, inventory levels, and capacity constraints using advanced ERP systems like SAP and MRP modules. Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure raw materials and components are available for production runs. Monitor production progress daily, identify bottlenecks or delays, and implement corrective actions promptly. Utilize Excel data analysis techniques to evaluate production data, identify trends, and support process improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing workflows through lean management practices such as Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies. Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and scheduling adjustments to support supply chain analytics. Lead efforts in continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, enhancing quality control measures, and increasing overall plant efficiency. Support plant management by providing detailed reports on production performance metrics and operational KPIs. Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure alignment on production priorities and deadlines. Assist in implementing manufacturing management systems that enhance productivity while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to assembly processes. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning software. Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning), lean manufacturing principles, and supply chain management strategies. Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel for decision-making and process optimization. Experience leading or supporting process improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma or similar methodologies. Background in operations management or plant management is highly desirable. Excellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively. Knowledge of quality control standards within manufacturing settings is advantageous.
