Production Planner

Position Overview: Manage all aspects of production relationships, including long-term planning of inventory and production levels, daily scheduling, and expediting to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands and optimize operations. Key Responsibilities Production Planning: Develop and maintain schedules aligned with company goals, working with third-party sites and centralized planning teams. Inventory Management: Implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, monitor system errors, and ensure timely shipment processing. Customer Service: Achieve >95% on-time service, address customer inquiries, and communicate order status effectively. Capacity & Storage: Maximize production capacity and collaborate to resolve capacity challenges. Communication & Collaboration: Maintain consistent communication with operations, warehousing, purchasing, and on-site teams to ensure smooth processes. System Data Management: Use and improve ERP systems, preferably SAP, for accurate production data. Process Improvement: Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to identify and implement efficiencies within planning and inventory functions. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in production planning or supply chain roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment; Lean Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
