Who are we looking for? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to balance multiple priorities while ensuring production schedules, inventory levels, and customer requirements are met. What will you be doing? As a Production Planner , you will play a critical role in ensuring production operations run efficiently by managing schedules, coordinating materials, and supporting inventory accuracy. You will work closely with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to align production demands with customer needs. Production Planning & Scheduling Manage and process production work orders in the ERP system. Run MRP (Material Requirements Planning) reports and analyze material and production requirements. Prioritize, release, and communicate production schedules to manufacturing teams. Plan and order intermediate feed items needed to support production. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer delivery expectations. Process work order issues and completions within JDE. Inventory & Materials Management Lead cycle count activities and investigate inventory discrepancies. Collaborate with operations teams to prevent material shortages and reduce excess inventory. Generate purchase orders for raw materials based on production requirements. Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are available to support production schedules. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with production, purchasing, warehouse, and customer service teams to support operational goals. Communicate production priorities, schedule changes, and material constraints. Assist in resolving planning, scheduling, and inventory challenges to maintain workflow efficiency. Continuous Improvement Maintain accurate planning and inventory data within company systems. Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, inventory accuracy, and overall production efficiency. Support a safe, organized, and customer-focused manufacturing environment.
