Ridgeview Industries is a leading metal stamping and assembly supplier primarily serving the automotive market. Our privately held and employee owned company, founded upon Christian principles, currently employs approximately 600 team members across 4 plant locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strive to achieve company objectives while demonstrating company’s Mission Statement, Quality Policy, and Ridgeview Principles in the performance of daily activities. Coordinate manufacturing processes, manage inventory levels, and create production schedules to ensure goods are produced efficiently and on time according to departmental instructions following Governmental and/or Company safety and housekeeping policies/procedures. Follow all safety policies and consistently use required personal protective equipment. Actively support safety initiatives; including hazard identification, reporting, and corrective action with a proactive mindset to risk reduction. Ensure quality requirements are achieved by reading and following Quality communications, and following established process. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment in alignment with 5S standards. Produce accurate and timely production schedules using our ERP (QAD) system. Monitor inventory levels and effectively communicate with appropriate teams flagging potential shortages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer ship schedules. Cultivate positive customer, supplier and employee relationships through proactive communication, timely response to concerns, and follow through on required information. Utilize material requirements planning (MRP) systems to update production data and track orders. Assess and react to changes in customer requirements. Be available on a rotational basis to support after-hours customer concerns Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 2 – 5 years of experience in a Production Scheduling in automotive manufacturing. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Customer Service Experience required. Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English. Ability to speak effectively, present information, and respond to questions from other employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Data driven approach to problem solving and decision making. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems; QAD preferred. Advanced proficiency with Demand models and Microsoft Excel.
